BIDDING 

• You must register for our online auctions on HiBid.com.

• If you do not have a Hibid account, you must make one.

• Use the username and password for Hibid to log in to our auctions each week.

• You can see our list of auctions at www.thurmontauction.HiBid.com. 

• Please read all terms and conditions for bidding, payment and shipping before placing a bid. 

• We do not guarantee the authenticity, quality or operation of any item sold. 

• ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD AS-IS NO REFUNDS OR RETURNS ACCEPTED 

PREVIEWS

• Items can be previewed on Saturdays from 12-2 PM or by appointment.

PICKING UP YOUR ITEMS

• Pick up days are Tuesdays each week 10-6 PM.

• Please notify us if you can not pick up at that time to make other arrangements.

• All items not picked up in a reasonable amount of time will be forfeited and either discarded or resold and no refund will be given.

BUYERS PREMIUM

• 15% with card

• 12% with cash or check for all auctions unless stated otherwise in the auction detail.

PAYMENT TERMS

• All credit cards on Hibid will be charged immediately at the end of each auction.

• Please notify us before the close of the auction if you intend to pay cash at pick up.

• Cash, Credit/Debit Cards and Checks accepted.

• Checks are only accepted from repeat customers. 

• Paypal or other forms of payment are not accepted. 

• Maryland sales tax will be charged to all non-exempt Maryland residents. MD Sales Tax does not apply to Collectible coin purchases of $1,000 or more per invoice. 

• All items must be paid for before picking up or packaged for shipping.

SHIPPING​

• Shipping to USA and Canada Only. 

• Shipping is done in-house on Tuesdays-Fridays

• $5 Handling fee per box will be applied to all invoices.

• All items will combined into one box or into as few boxes as necessary. 

• On Tuesdays the items will be boxed and weighed and charged to the card on Hibid for the shipping and handling charge.

• We purchase 3rd-party shipping labels and transfer the discount rate to you, the buyer. 

• We do not accept shipping labels from buyers.

• USPS Ground Advantage, Priority, Media Mail, UPS Ground and international services are used. 

• Canadian buyers will need to pay the duty tax upon arrival as necessary. Our label provider does not charge the duty tax.  

• Insurance will be added to all purchases over $100 unless stated by the buyer not to charge insurance. 

FIREARMS AND AMMO SALES​

• All firearm sales will be done through a local FFL Dealer.

• All firearms must be paid for at the auction house by Tuesday, before they will be transferred to the FFL.

• You must pay the FFL for all transaction and/or shipping fees associated with the sale. 

• Ammo can be picked up at the auction house or if being shipped will be transferred to the FFL Dealer for shipping. Buyer must pay the FFL for all shipping fees associated with the ammo purchase.
